オリンピック大会がフランスに戻ってきました ！ パリ2024は、新しい開催都市の中心部で特別な祭典を提供します
8月8日（日）、東京2020オリンピック大会の閉会式において、パリのアンヌ・イダルゴ市長が小池百合子東京都知事からオリンピック旗を受け取りました。これにより、パリは1924年の開催から100年を経て、正式に次のオリンピック開催都市となりました。パリ2024は、この最初の式典で、これまで以上に開放された大会にするという野心を示したいと考えました。東京とパリのトロカデロ庭園の間で行われた引き継ぎ式には、5,000人以上が参加し、東京2020のフランス人メダリストたちも出席しました。

閉会式および東京2020との引き継ぎを2日後に控え、パリ2024のトニー・エスタンゲ会長とパリのアンヌ・イダルゴ市長は、東京で行われた記者会見でパリ2024の野望について語りました。また、東京大会の閉会式で放送されるパリ2024のアーティスティック・セグメントのプレビューも行われました。また、希望と最善観のメッセージとして今大会を開催した東京2020組織委員会とそのパートナー、そして日本の皆様に感謝の意を表しました。
